Features
- Hydraulic actuators use liquid as a means to apply pressure to the actuators mechanical components. They generally can exert a large amount of force, because liquid is not compressible. But these are generally limited in acceleration and speed. Hydraulic actuators can be either spring return or double acting.
- The hydraulic actuator will be piston style in which the function is same as pneumatic piston actuators, but utilize liquid instead of gas to generate the operating energy. These actuators can have electric source to sometime & therefore can be called electro hydraulic operated.
